How to to upgrade your bathroom on a budget

Here are just a few ideas to upgrade your bathroom on a budget, adding value to your home, while making you fall in love with your space...

Update your cabinets.

The quickest and easiest way to update your look? Paint. Choose a rich, dark color for a bold and modern look. Keep in mind, if you can't change out the countertop at this time, you can emphasize/deemphasize different colors in the countertop to really change the overall look.

Paint your bathtub.

Did you know you can paint your bathtub? It does require a particular paint, and does need to be touched up over time, but if you have one of those yellowed tubs from the seventies, you can paint it a crisp white that will hold up relatively well and look great when you are finished!

Update your light fixtures.

Just as this is a way to update any room inside or outside your house, your bathroom is no exception. Change out your fixtures to modernize your space and dramatically change the look and feel or your bathroom.

While these changes might not give you the same feel as those super high-end bathrooms we all swoon over, it will update your look on a budget and make you love your space (almost) as much as a brand new bathroom!
